Litewares / free beta

Did every page make it?

Compare your source PDFs with a finished packet. Find missing exact matches, extra copies and order changes.

Free experimental beta for small, trusted PDFs. Tested on desktop Chromium; other browsers and mobile devices are unverified. Review exceptions against your originals. Stamped, numbered or otherwise altered pages require manual review; this does not verify altered content or certify filing compliance.

This checks a packet you have already assembled. It does not combine source PDFs, repair a PDF or change your files. Use your PDF editor to assemble the packet first, then compare that finished file here.

Try a three-page example

Try a made-up packet before choosing your own PDFs. It should contain pages A, B and C. The finished packet contains A, A and C.

Uses three tiny sample PDFs from this site. If you have selected your own files, clear them first. Sample results are labeled and kept separate from checks of your files.

Checking your files

1. Set your expected order

Add the original PDFs you want in the packet.

  1. Include any planned cover or index.
  2. Add a file twice if you need two copies.
  3. Use Move up and Move down to set the file order.

Pages within each file keep their original order.

    2. Choose the finished packet

Select the combined PDF you already made, then choose Check packet.

Files stay in this browser’s memory. No uploads or accounts. Limited aggregate usage counts. Limit: 30 MiB per file, 100 MiB total and 150 pages including sources and packet. Checks stop after 15 seconds per opening/page/comparison phase or 2 minutes total. Cancel discards partial results. Password-protected PDFs and interactive forms are unsupported.

Why page count alone misses a missing PDF page

The two source PDFs have three pages in total: A and B in the first file, C in the second. The finished sample packet also has three pages, but a second copy of A has taken B’s place. Comparing page counts would miss both errors.

The check should show one missing exact match for B and one extra occurrence of A. It also flags the two copies of A as an unresolved identity group. This means the copies look identical to the check, so it cannot tell which original each came from. C has one unique exact match.

For your own packet, put the sources in the intended order and include any planned cover or index as a source. Review the flagged pages against the originals. A missing exact match can mean a page was changed, not just left out; stamps, numbering and rotation changes are not automatically accepted. This checks sampled visual and text evidence, not completeness or readiness to file.

    Limited usage measurement

Plausible counts pageviews, tool visits, processing attempts, ready results and download requests. Failed or cancelled attempts may count as starts, but not ready results. Download requests do not prove a file was saved. We send no file contents, filenames, column names, selected keys, values, raw errors, query strings or arbitrary properties. Page URLs are fixed; external referrals include only HTTP(S) protocol and hostname, without ports. No app browser storage is used. Plausible receives ordinary connection information, including your IP address and browser information, for aggregate statistics. The built-in sample does not count as a workflow or report download. A ready report may contain exceptions; it does not establish correctness or compliance.

Files are processed locally. The hosting provider receives ordinary connection information when serving this website. See the Litewares privacy note.
