Litewares / Privacy
Small tools.
A straightforward privacy note.
This note covers the Litewares discovery hub and explains what to expect when you follow a link to one of our tools.
On this website
This hub links to our utilities and hosts CSV Change Report, CSV Lookup Join, PDF Packet Check and Product Image Coverage Check. All four process files locally; the coverage checker reads only photo filenames, never photo contents. It does not upload your files, require an account, or set advertising cookies. We use Plausible for aggregate pageviews and tool-link clicks; all four hosted tools also count tool visits, workflow attempts, ready reports and download requests. Failed or cancelled attempts may count as starts, but not ready reports. PDF reports may contain exceptions and do not establish correctness or compliance. Reports can contain issues; requests do not prove saved downloads. Built-in synthetic examples do not count as workflows; CSV Lookup Join also excludes its unchanged downloadable picking-list practice tables. Its HubSpot-style practice files, modified practice data and other synthetic uploads may count. No file contents, filenames, headers, selected columns or keys, IDs, values, raw errors, query strings or arbitrary properties are sent. Page URLs are fixed canonical paths; external referrals include only HTTP(S) protocol and hostname, without ports or other URL fields. No app browser storage is used. Plausible receives ordinary connection information, including IP address and browser information, to produce aggregate statistics.
The hosting provider receives ordinary connection information, such as your IP address and browser information, when serving the website. Browser-local file processing does not mean visiting a website involves no network connection.
Inside the tools
Our current CSV and image utilities read and process selected files in your browser. File contents and filenames are not uploaded to our servers. Downloads are saved to your device.
The three separately hosted tools use Plausible for limited usage counts: visits, processing starts, ready outputs, and download requests. Those events do not include filenames, file contents, accounting or merchant values, image dimensions, file sizes, or raw errors. Plausible receives ordinary connection information to produce aggregate usage statistics. Check the privacy disclosure on each tool for its current implementation.
Links and future tools
CSV Change Report, CSV Lookup Join, PDF Packet Check and Product Image Coverage Check run on this website with the limited analytics described above. The other tool links open separate websites with their own hosting and privacy disclosures. We aim to keep processing local wherever practical; if a future tool needs a different approach, its own disclosure should be consulted before use.
Your files and results
Keep your original files and review generated results before importing or sharing them. Closing or refreshing a tool clears its in-memory working file; downloaded copies remain on your device.
